Players mainly interested in the Campaign now have a clear reason to enter the August testing period. Entrenched provides a playable single-player preview, and MW4 Boosting can prepare basic aiming and movement before the limited Beta windows open.

Choose the Correct Access Method
Weekend One runs from August 21 through August 25, 2026, for eligible pre-order players on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Weekend Two runs from August 28 through September 1 and opens participation across supported platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2.

Supported digital pre-orders are automatically registered for Early Access. Retail pre-orders from participating sellers may provide a 13-character Beta code on the receipt or through email. The code is registered to an Activision account before a platform-specific token is distributed.

1. Sign in to the Activision account intended for the Beta.

2. Confirm that the correct platform account is linked.

3. Verify the email address connected to the Activision account.

4. Redeem the retail code if the order requires one.

5. Select the correct platform and matching account region.

6. Check the platform library when Early Access begins.

Build a Three-Run Mission Schedule
Story Run
Follow the squad, listen to dialogue, and complete the mission without frequent restarts. Use this attempt to understand the objective sequence and the role of Entrenched within the Korean front of the wider Campaign.

Combat Run
Keep the same settings and focus on target order, recoil control, reload timing, equipment placement, and movement between protected positions. Return to the encounter that created the greatest pressure rather than replaying only the easiest section.

Technical Run
Review visibility, directional audio, subtitles, camera behavior, interface clarity, and performance. Change one setting at a time so improvements can be measured against a familiar encounter.

Keep the Beta and Full Campaign Separate
Entrenched is one preview mission and does not provide the complete single-player storyline. Digital pre-order customers receive separate Campaign Early Access beginning October 16, 2026. The full game launches on October 23 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
