My Cayenne just died on me halfway through a road trip – any hope for a quick fix?

Talk about bad timing. I was driving back from RAK this afternoon with the family, about an hour out of Abu Dhabi, when my 2019 Cayenne S suddenly lost all power and started shuddering violently before the engine just cut out completely. Managed to coast to the shoulder and now I'm sitting here waiting for a tow truck, trying to figure out what on earth could have gone wrong. The car was running perfectly fine all weekend, no warning lights, no strange noises, nothing. I've got a horrible feeling it could be something major like a fuel pump or maybe even the timing chain tensioners, which I've read can be an issue on these V6s if you're unlucky. The real problem is I absolutely need the car back on the road by tomorrow morning because I've got work commitments and can't be without it for days on end. I've called a few places already but most of them are saying they can't even look at it until later this week which just isn't going to work for me. I'm desperately hoping there's somewhere that can at least diagnose it today and maybe get the parts ordered overnight. I've heard that some workshops in the area are set up specifically for European cars and can turn things around pretty quickly if they have the right equipment. What I really need right now is Same-day Porsche Repair in Abu Dhabi because every hour this thing sits undiagnosed is another hour of stress for me. Has anyone been in a similar situation and found a garage that actually understands these cars and doesn't keep you waiting forever? I'm honestly open to any suggestions at this point, I just need to get this sorted.

Since most places are tucked away inside officetels with no signs or street presence, having a platform like 오피 that pulls all the info together honestly makes things so much easier to navigate.

Sudden power loss with shuddering and then a full cut-out, no warnings beforehand, sounds more like fuel or ignition than the timing chain. Chain issues usually rattle on cold start first. Ask the tow driver to take it straight to a shop that can plug in a PIWIS or equivalent tonight, since stored fault codes will tell you a lot.

Went through something similar on a 2018 Cayenne last year, dead on the highway in the middle of summer. Turned out to be a failed coil pack and a bad fuel pressure sensor, not the catastrophic stuff I was imagining. Parts were in by next morning, so don't panic yet.

Don't let anyone quote you for a fuel pump or a chain job before they've actually tested it. Ask for a fuel pressure reading and a scan of the codes first, and get the diagnosis in writing. A shop promising same-day fixes without seeing the car is usually guessing.

Worth having them check the high pressure fuel pump and the crank position sensor too, and take a look at the battery voltage and alternator output. A dying alternator can make the engine shudder and cut out with no warning light on some of these. Also pull the fuse box and check for anything cooked by heat soak.

Did it restart at all after it cut out, or is it completely dead when you turn the key? Does it crank normally? Also curious whether you filled up recently at a different station than usual, since bad fuel can cause exactly this kind of sudden shudder and stall.
