Posted: Wed Sep 30, 2026 5:31 am Author: haworthwiddicombe Worth having them check the high pressure fuel pump and the crank position sensor too, and take a look at the battery voltage and alternator output. A dying alternator can make the engine shudder and cut out with no warning light on some of these. Also pull the fuse box and check for anything cooked by heat soak.
